Trixie was a half husky and German shepherd she spent 8 wonderful years with her family. Trixie was rescued on Thanksgiving 2017 by my son, Nicholas. She was abused and starved. She didn’t have a good start in life, but she had a great life.
Trixie loved the backyard that was her area. She liked to catch birds and butterflies and anything that flew over, she would catch them midair. Trixie’s favorite treats were in her bark box. She knew when she saw the UPS guy, he was bringing her bark box. Trixie she was something. She was playful, loving, loyal, but sassy. She would be mad at me and literally turn her back if I tried to talk to her. She was very protective, over me, her backyard.
Trixie would bate in the raccoons. She would hide her treats by burying them in the backyard knowing the racoons would be looking for food. She would sit in the back corner and wait patiently. She would be mad at me because I had to work all day and so she would pay me back by eating the doggy door out of the door even though she had access inside and out. So, I had to get a bigger doggy door to put in the place of the one she ate out. She was so proud of herself. She killed a skunk and brought it unto bed at 4:30 one morning.
Trixie had a missing tooth because a racoon knocked it out.
