Coco Quintana

d. January 20, 2024

On January 20, 2024, we lost our beloved Great Dane, Coco, as she crossed the rainbow bridge to join her longtime sidekick, Jax. The two massive, yet tenderhearted pals never passed by a person or group without receiving a compliment, a wow, or a stare in awe, as they cruised the streets and trails of the Four Corners.

Coco embodied all the qualities of a Great Dane. She was loyal, loving, regal, athletic, silly, intelligent, and protective. She fit our family like the perfect puzzle piece. She was always ready to follow our lead, no matter the adventure. She always wanted to be by her family and especially loved following her dad around, with one exception, she hated the water! She would bark by the side of the pool to let everyone know her disapproval of swimming! She loved weekend camping trips in the mountains, chasing our atv's, an afternoon hike in the glade, a river walk trail, an FHS Homecoming parade, a cancer walkathon, or a lazy day on the couch; Coco was thrilled to be there as part of our pack. She especially loved going for car rides with our teenage daughters to get a puppuccino at Starbucks.

Coco's absence was instantly felt, and we will miss the consistent warm greetings when we opened the garage and the familiar bark at the door to let us know the girls were home. There was no sneaking in or out when Coco was home!

The memories we shared will be cherished and will help us overcome the sadness of such a loss. We are forever grateful for the 11 years we were able to spend with our sweet girl.
